This Privacy Notice explains how app.licious Group Pty Ltd (trading as RootaRig, "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you use the RootaRig platform and websites (the "Service"). This page is maintained by app.licious Group Pty Ltd.

1. Controller

app.licious Group Pty Ltd is the data controller for personal data processed in connection with the Service. You can reach us at privacy@rootarig.com.

2. Categories of personal data we collect

• Account data: name, email address, login credentials, role, company.
• Profile & operational data: driver assignments, vehicle records, job details, addresses, signatures, proof-of-delivery uploads.
• Customer & contact data: details of your customers and consignees that you choose to enter.
• Usage & telemetry: pages viewed, actions taken, device identifiers, IP address, browser type, error logs.
• Support communications: messages you send to us.

3. Purposes and legal bases

• Provide the Service (performance of contract): account creation, dispatch, tracking, POD capture.
• Security & fraud prevention (legitimate interests / legal obligation).
• Product improvement & analytics (legitimate interests).
• Customer support (performance of contract / legitimate interests).
• Marketing only where you have opted in (consent).
• Legal compliance (legal obligation).

4. Data sharing

We share personal data only with:

• Service providers / subprocessors that host or operate the Service (cloud hosting, analytics, error monitoring, email/SMS delivery).
• Paddle.com Market Limited, our Merchant of Record, for sale of subscriptions, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, invoicing, and refunds.
• Professional advisers (legal, accounting) under confidentiality.
• Authorities where required by law.

5. International transfers

Personal data may be processed outside your country, including by subprocessors located in the EU, UK, and US. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms.

6. Retention

We keep personal data for as long as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations (typically the life of your account plus up to 7 years for financial records). When no longer needed, data is deleted or anonymised.

7. Your rights

Subject to local law (including the Australian Privacy Act, GDPR and UK GDPR where applicable), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (e.g. the OAIC in Australia). To exercise these rights, contact privacy@rootarig.com. We respond within one month.

8. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures including encryption in transit, access controls, and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password.

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and analytics cookies to understand aggregate usage. You can manage cookies in your browser settings.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Service or by email.
